Abstract:

To provide a currency processing system capable of easily executing investigation of a currency processing device.SOLUTION: In a currency processing system, a first currency processing machine has a storage unit that stores, as a managed balance, each of a currency quantity held by the first currency processing machine and a currency quantity held by a second currency processing machine, and a first control unit that, at an investigation execution date and time, executes an investigation of currency held by the first currency processing machine and transmits an investigation instruction to execute an investigation of currency to the second currency processing machine to determine whether or not an investigation result of the first currency processing machine and an investigation result received from the second currency processing machine match the managed balance of the first currency processing machine and the managed balance of the second currency processing machine stored in the storage unit. The second currency processing machine has a second control unit that, when the investigation instruction is received, executes an investigation of currency held by the second currency processing machine and transmits an investigation result from the executed investigation to the first currency processing machine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
