To provide the current collecting section of a dynamo-electric machine, in which the cleaning works of an air cooler can be conducted easily and in a short time.

A long-sized square hole in the lateral direction is formed to the lower sections of a flange 8e, on the shaft end side of the current collecting section, and a flange 8a on the in-machine side. An air cooler 4A is inserted into the square hole from the shaft end side. A handle 4a is installed to an end plate 4b on the shaft end side in the air cooler 4A. A caster may also be mounted at the lower end of the air cooler 4A, and the air cooler may also be cleaned by dividing the air cooler into two at a central section and opening the air cooler to both sides.
