To prevent occurrence of a reactive current when a current collection board is placed on an end side of a group of electrodes which is made by winding or stacking a positive electrode board and a negative electrode board through a separator and welded to the positive electrode board or the negative electrode board by means of resistance welding and thereby control quality deterioration of the electrodes at the time of welding.
The positive current collector 20 is composed of a current collection board pieces 21 and 22 separated each other. On an end side, which is the top end side 10a, where a core of positive electrode of a spiral electrode group 10 is exposed, the current collection board pieces 21 and 22 are arranged to have a gap g in between, and electrode rods 71 and 72 for resistance welding are vertically pushed on the pieces 21 and 22, respectively, to press them, and voltage is applied between the rods 71 and 72 to conduct current A1 from the rod 71 to the rod 72 through the piece 21, a positive electrode core 11a, and the piece 22, in order, and then the pieces 21 and 22 are welded to the positive electrode core 11a.
