Abstract:
To provide a current collector which can also be used for an electrode of a lithium ion secondary battery and can effectively prevent an active material layer from being peeled off.
In a current collector, iron base powder is sintered, the porosity is 30 to 55 vol.%, and a conductive metal layer is provided in at least a part of an inner peripheral surface of a hole. An active material can be filled largely since the porosity is high 30 to 55 vol.%, and power supplying to and receiving from the active material is smoothly performed by the conductive metal layer. For that reason, charge/discharge capacity is improved and an active material layer is inhibited from being peeled off since the active material can be retained in the hole.
