PURPOSE: To provide a current controller for motor through which an output torque can be obtained at high efficiency at all times.
CONSTITUTION: The current controller for motor comprises a memory 10 storing current command value for phase U, a memory 11 storing phase U current detected through a current control means 9, and a delay time calculating means 12 for providing a current distribution angle correcting means 6 with a delay time 103 obtained through time conversion of a phase difference at a maximum difference of mutual correlation function calculated while considering the phase U current command values and phase U detected current values as a numeric series arranged in the order of time. A current distribution angle correcting value is then determined based on thus calculated delay time and distributed to each phase current command thus obtaining an optimal current distribution angle at all times. According to the constitution, maximum torque can be outputted stably from a motor.
