Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for appropriately welding an electric conduction plate to a deformation plate.SOLUTION: When pressure inside a case 11 exceeds a predetermined value, a current cutoff device 10 cuts off an electric conduction path for connecting an electrode assembly 12 housed in the case 11 to a negative electrode terminal 132 fitted to the case 11. The current cutoff device 10 comprises: an electric conduction plate 20 electrically connected to the electrode assembly 12; and a first deformation plate 40 electrically connected to the negative electrode terminal 132. On a surface 28 of the electric conduction plate 20, there is formed a padding portion 25 which protrudes partially. The first deformation plate 40 is welded to the padding portion 25.
