Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current driver circuit of a small area which ensures the withstand voltage of the internal circuit even when a high power supply voltage is applied.SOLUTION: A current driver circuit is provided with an MOS transistor M2 having a constant current source connected to one end and being diode-connected, MOS transistors M3 to M6 current-mirror connected to the MOS transistor M2, a high withstand voltage transistor M1 having higher withstand voltage than the MOS transistors M2 and M3 to M6 and connected between an external output terminal T1 and the MOS transistor M2. An adjustment voltage for adjusting the potential of one end connected to the high withstand voltage transistor M1 of the MOS transistors M3 to M6 to the target value is input to the control end of the high withstand voltage transistor M1. By inputting the adjustment voltage for adjusting so that the voltage applied to the MOS transistor M3 does not exceed the withstand voltage, it is possible to avoid applying the high power supply voltage to the MOS transistor M3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
