Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To strengthen the breaking property of a current fuse by applying an arc extinction means.
SOLUTION: A shock wave generated at arc-discharge is made to reflect and converge by the arc itself by forming the inner wall surface of a fuse container into concave shape. As a result, the continuation of the arc is broken.
