Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the consumption of liquid helium and reduce instability of quenching and the like by sharply reducing Joule heat production through a current lead itself and heat invasion due to thermal conduction.
CONSTITUTION: A current lead which is to supply a current to a superconductor device 4 is provided with at least part of which is constructed with a ceramics superconductor 2 prepared by a unidirectional solidification process.
