Title:
CURRENT SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2011106889
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a noncontact type current sensor forming a core with high density, improving a sensitivity by high permeability, allowing easy installation of a coil, and achieving high density winding.

The current sensor includes: a nearly C-shaped magnetic body core 2 where both the ends 2a face each other via a gap G of a prescribed interval; a coil 4 wound around the magnetic body core 2 via an insulator; and a magnetic sensor element H disposed within the gap G and detecting magnetic flux as an electric signal. The magnetic body core 2 includes two nearly L-shaped divided cores 2A, 2B formed by pure iron green compact and fixed in a joined state at the ends mutually.
