Abstract:
To generate predetermined power even when a current flowing through a transmission line is small, and generate surplus power as little as possible when the current is large.SOLUTION: A current transformer 10A includes a magnetic core 11 that can be attached to a power transmission line 2, a power generation coil 12 and a free coil 13 wound around the magnetic core 11, a switch circuit 14 connected between both ends of the free coil 13, and a switch control unit 15 that controls the switch circuit 14 on the basis of a voltage appearing between both ends of the power generation coil 12. As a result, a magnetic flux φ1 generated in the magnetic core 11 by the current flowing through the transmission line 2 is reduced by the free coil 13. Further, when the current flowing through the transmission line 2 is small, the free coil 13 can be invalidated by the switch circuit 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
