Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the overload operation of an inverter amplifier by providing a voltage clip means to an input of the inverting amplifier and inserting a resistor RF causing a negative feedback between an output terminal and an input terminal. CONSTITUTION: The converter is provided with an inverter amplifier U1 whose output terminal connects to an output port, a feedback resistor RF connecting between the output port and an input port, and a voltage clip means D2 that is connected to the input port to limit a maximum input voltage U1. Thus, a saturation of the inverting amplifier U1 on the occurrence of an overload due to a large input pulse is avoided so that it is avoided that a relax time gets longer till accurate re-adjustment of an operating point is made due to a thermal unbalance resulting from the saturation at once. Thus, the current- voltage converter where the effect of a large input pulse is minimized is obtained.
