PURPOSE: To provide comfortable living space by applying the constitution where a clothes hanging means is provided, and both of clothes hanging function and curtain box function are realized in common, while clothes being hung from the means.
CONSTITUTION: A chain wire material 13 is engaged with a retainer 14 laid on the inner wall of a room and a wire material 10 is thereby pulled toward the retainer 14. Thus, an expansion arm 5 is caused to contract against the energizing force of a spring 6. As a result, the front opening of a box 2 for housing a hanging means is closed with a front plate 7, and a clothes hanging bar 9 is loosely held in the coupling groove 8A of a holder 8. When the wire material 13 is released from the retainer 14 and the material 10 is pulled out from the side of the retainer 14 toward the bar 9, the arm 5 expands, due to the energizing force of the spring 6, and the front plate 7, the holder 8 and the bar 9 as retreated advance concurrently with the expansion of the arm 5. When the wire material 10 is further pulled out toward the bar 9, this bar 9 parts from the groove 8A of the holder 8 and descends, due to the own weight thereof.
