To provide a curtain opening-closing appliance with which a curtain can be fully opened/closed with simple structure.
Since a linear motor is arranged only on a lower curtain rail 50, power consumption at the time of opening/closing the curtain can be reduced and the device can be inexpensively constituted. In this case, since permanent magnets 12A and 12B are arranged for attracting a leading runner 42 of an upper curtain rail 10, in which the linear motor is not integrated, at a position corresponding to a curtain opening/closing end through magnetic force, when opening/closing a curtain 40, the iron plate of the leading runner 42 is attracted by the permanent magnets 12A and 12B and moved to the opening end and closing end positions so that the curtain 40 can be completely opened and closed.
