PURPOSE: To improve productivity and to reduce equipped cost by adopting a multi-point correction.
CONSTITUTION: In this curved continuous casting apparatus having the multi- point correcting zone, the shape of a dummy bar is made a simple arc type solid dummy bar 1. A dummy bar cutting-off device is arranged at the curved part or the last correcting point and upper rolls of pinch roll group 4, 5, 6 constituting the multi-point correcting zone is formed to be retractable upward so as not to be interfered with the dummy bar 1. Therefore, the high speed casting can be executed by adopting the multi-point correction, and the operational trouble is reduced, the productivity is improved, and further the equipped cost of a dummy bar housing device is made low.
