To hold a curved glass pate to be transported and a slip sheet to be inserted between the glass plates respectively by different suction means or holding means and sequentially loads vertically onto a pallet at the same time.
The curved glass plate positioned on a predetermined position in a slip sheet supply device is sucked by a glass suction means. After that, a vicinity of an upper corner of the slip sheet hanged or placed on a different predetermined position provided at the side of a transporting path of the curved glass plate in the slip sheet supply device is gripped by a slip sheet holding means or hanged by suction and received and held in an extended state. After that, a pair of hold sections of the slip sheet are moved closer to each other and slacked to fit a shape of the curved glass surface. A loading robot capable of moving in all directions and rotating both the curved glass plate and the slip sheet hanged and slacked at the outside thereof loads the curved glass plate and the slip sheet vertically onto the pallet at the same time to be alternately arranged.
