PURPOSE: To secure each ground surface for not only a flat but various forms by grinding a weld zone in automatically regulating a travel speed in the grinding direction so as to make a load current in an electronic grinder become less than the specified value at all times.
CONSTITUTION: A weld zone 4 is ground by a specified means on the basis of a grinding area determined by a grinding area determining means which calculates a position of the finished surface on the basis of the form and position of a weld zone 14 recognized as a preset finished surface, and determining the grinding area of the weld zone 4. At this time, as a grinding means, an electronic grinder 7 with a load current control circuit is used, detecting a load current being increased or decreased according to a size of pressing force of this grinder 7 is always detected, and the weld zone 4 is ground by the electronic grinder 7 as automatically regulating a travel speed in the grinding direction of the grinder 7 so as to make the load current become less than the specified value at all times by a numerical control system 14.
