Abstract:
To provide a liquid crystal panel made to retain a curved state.
A pair of flexible substrates 11, 12 sandwiching an ultraviolet curing sealant 13 and a mixture of an ultraviolet polymerizing monomer, a liquid crystal and a polymerization initiator to form a polymer dispersed liquid crystal 15 is retained in the curved state. The sealant and the mixture are simultaneously hardened by irradiating the flexible substrates 11, 12 retained in the curved state with ultraviolet rays from both sides of front and rear surfaces.
