Abstract:
To prevent loosening of a set screw that is screwed in through the tube wall from the lateral direction of a curved tube against an inner member that is placed inside near the curved portion of the tube.SOLUTION: In a curved tube that constitutes a mounting portion 2b of a door handle to a door, a portion to which a plug 5 (inner member), which is arranged inside near a curved portion, is fixed is formed into an elliptical cross section where the dimension la in the horizontal direction is smaller than the dimension Lb in the vertical direction, so that the gap dimension in the horizontal direction between the mounting portion 2b and the plug 5 (δa1+δa2 ) is smaller than the longitudinal gap dimension (δb1+δb2). This allows a larger allowance for a set screw 6, which is screwed into the plug 5 through the tube wall from the lateral direction of the mounting portion 2b, than in the conventional design, effectively preventing the set screw 6 from loosening.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
