Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable the neutral position of a cushion installation to be adjustable in a car cushion assembly by arranging elastic hoses in apaces between a retainer section and a cushion in a compressed form in such a manner that hydraulic pressure can be applied to the hoses. CONSTITUTION:When a car is running at a high speed, hydraulic pressure is applied to a hose 17 allowing its (17) diameter to be enlarged so as to be almost a circular form. This enables the neutral position P of a cushion 8 installation to move to the base side of a strat bar 2 allowing the effective length of the strat bar 2 to be shortened. This also allows the angle theta of a caster to be increased resulting in the improvement of rectilinear running performance. While on the contrary, when the car is running at a low speed, hydraulic, pressure is applied to a hose 16 allowing it (16) to be enlarged up to approximately a circular form. This cases the neutral position P of the installation to move to the tip end of the start bar 2 allowing the effective length of the start bar 2 to be lengthened. Consequently, this allows the steering characteristics to be augmented resulting in the improvement of roadability at a time of running at a low speed.
