PURPOSE: To reduce damage of cars and drivers, by arranging an auxiliary material having a little weaker strength than a car bumper or the like at a deviated position from the center of the whole cushion cover.

CONSTITUTION: A cushion cover 10 is attached so as to wrap up a terminal post 3 of a guard cable 4. At this rime, the strength of the reinforcing material 1 is made so as to be a little weaker than the bumper of a car and the terminal post 3 of the guard cable 4 and the reinforcing material 1 is arranged at the deviated position toward the terminal post 3 of the guard cable 4 from the geometrical center of the cushion cover 10. When a car, coming from the direction shown in the arrow mark A, collides with the cushion cover 10, the auxiliary material 1 is deformed first before the car dumper is, so that the shock is absorbed. At the same time, the cushion cover 10 is rotated in the arrow direction C to guide, the car in the arrow direction B.
