Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide spectacles which do not shift from a proper position on a face and is rich in stability by making ear bends display a superior inertia absorbing function and strong frictional resistance when inertial of movement operates on the wron spectacles as a result of hard exercise and to provide spectacles which can be fitted to the shapes of various ear parts and the shapes of temple parts by adequate adjustments and eliminates the need to increase the clamping strength of the right and left temples so much.

CONSTITUTION: A means called a cushion ear bend consisting of a synthetic resin molding having an adjustment sleeve 31 which can position and move the peripheral surface of a temple engaged by sliding, a chip pad 32 which is fitted onto the projection end part of the temple 2, and a bow cord 33 which connects the chip pad 32 and adjustment sleeve 31 is employed for free ends of a couple of right and left temples which are coupled with both sides of a front frame 1 in a foldable state.
