To provide a cushion structure of fluid pressure cylinder which can exhibit smooth cushion effect at stroke end without needing a cushion ring which is processed in expensive hardening process or the like and fine working.
The cushion structure 1 is characterized in that a cushion ring 20 is loosely fitted in a piston rod 14 which advances and retreats together with a piston 7 in an axial direction of a cylinder 2. The cushion ring 20 is arranged inside a small diameter portion 19 formed in an axial direction of the piston rod 14, and has a notch 24 in which a cross section is gradually decreased toward the piston 7 in periphery. Furthermore, between the cushion ring 20 and the cylinder 2, a cylindrical slide bearing 25 in which the inner circumference surface is constituted by soft material softer than the cushion ring 20.
