Abstract:
PURPOSE:To optimize the bleed-off timing and cushioning effect by a method wherein an unloading solenoid valve and a restriction solenoid valve are controlled based upon detection signals of the stroke and speed of a piston. CONSTITUTION:A hydraulic cylinder 1 is provided with a cushioning chamber 10 and a restriction chamber 11. A restriction solenoid valve 3 is connected to the restriction chamber 11. An unloading solenoid valve 2 is connected to a high pressure chamber 6. A stroke sensor 18 and a speed sensor 19 are provided at the end of the hydraulic cylinder 1 so as to control the unloading solenoid valve 2 and the restriction solenoid valve 3 based upon the stroke and speed of a piston. As a result, the bleed-off action and the restriction action can be controlled regardless of the change of viscosity of oil and accordingly the optimum breed-off timing and cushioning effect can be obtained.
