The cushioning device is horizontally provided on an end wall surface of a floor surface of the truck berth so as to ease impact when a cargo bed of a truck is grounded and to protect an end of the floor surface and the cargo bed of the truck. A plurality of elastic cushioning materials in a cylindrical shape are continuously provided through a string member inserted into a center hole, and the string member is fixed to the end wall surface of the floor surface of the truck berth at least in two portions including both ends.
