Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cushioning efficiency by forming a cushioning material with a cushioning layer made of a foam resin body and a rigid body which is a shock load dispersing layer arranged in the cushioning layer.
SOLUTION: A layer of a rigid body 2 is provided in parallel with the vehicle collision face of a resin body 1 at the center in the cubit foam resin body 1, and the whole is covered with a surface cover material 3 to form a cushioning material. Two layers of rigid bodies 2 are installed in the resin body 1 as desired, or a layer of the rigid body 2 having a protruded nearly C-shape on the plan view to the vehicle collision face is installed in the resin body 1 so that the rigid body 2 is hardly deformed at the time of a vehicle collision. The dispersion effect of a shock load is increased, and a large cushioning effect is obtained even when a vehicle collides obliquely. The resin body 1 mitigates the shock load at the time of the vehicle collision, and the rigid body 2 disperses the mitigated shock load to the resin body 1 at the rear. The deformation of the vehicle at the time of the collision can be reduced, the shock load can be largely reduced, the number of part items is reduced, assembling is easy, and the cost can be reduced.
