PURPOSE: To obtain a cushion material applicable for various cushion part members, etc., having excellent compression variability, heat resistance, chemical resistance, handleability, antistatic properties, etc., comprising a light-weight carbon fiber resin composite material obtained by integrating carbon fibers with a resin.
CONSTITUTION: A pitch-based generalized carbon fiber felt is impregnated with a phenol resin, etc., in a weight ratio of carbon fibers/resin of 50/50, dried at 120°C for 10 minutes to give a prepreg. Four sheets of the prepreg are laminated and press-molded under 7kg/cm2 at 180°C to give the objective new cushioning material comprising a carbon fiber resin composite material having 0.20-0.80g/cm3 density, 100-1,000kg/cm2 modulus in compression, ≤108Ω surface resistance, ≥90 degrees water contact angle of surface and physical properties required as a cushioning material such as excellent cushioning characteristics, lightness, handleability, surface releasability, low electric resistance of surface, etc.
