Title:
CUSHIONING MECHANISM FOR HYDRAULIC STRIKING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3483015
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve striking efficiency by cushioning reflected energy from a shank rod with oil pressure so as to reduce damage, and advancing a bit so as to be in contact with a rock-bed to strike even in the case of a rock drill body failing to advance into a specified position by the next striking time after once retreating due to the thrust shortage of the rock drill body.
SOLUTION: A rock drill is provided with striking mechanism for striking a shank rod 2, and a chuck driver bush 13 for transmitting thrust to the crushed object side to the shank rod 2. In this rock drill, a front damping piston 4 smaller in thrust than a rock drill body 1, and a rear damping piston 5 larger in thrust than the rock drill body 1 are disposed behind the chuck driver bush 13.
