Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2019048056
Kind Code:

To provide a shoe insole cushioning element, and an inexpensive production process of the cushioning element.SOLUTION: A cushioning element 102 may be selected such that, when force is applied to the cushioning element perpendicularly to a top surface 106, a portion of a gel 105 bulges to deform or collapse voids in the vicinity of the applied force before the top surface bottoms out against a bottom surface 108. The cushioning element includes a non-gel material secured to the gel. The gel is secured to a material 110 by overmolding, without physical interlocking of the material and the gel. A shoe insole comprises the cushioning element.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
