Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ordered food and drink transport device capable of minimizing increase of a space occupied by a drive mechanism of a transport device in a kitchen, even when a length of a bogie entering a kitchen increases or decreases.SOLUTION: The ordered food and drink transport device for transporting ordered food and drink to a customer seat from a kitchen in a restaurant comprises: a guide rail which extends along a transport path on a side of the transport path extending from the kitchen to the customer seat; bogies to whose side part a roller bracket having rollers for sandwiching the guide rail from both of left and right sides is fixed and which travel on the transport path extending from the kitchen to the customer seat; and a drive mechanism having a belt extending along the transport path and a motor for driving the belt, and driving the bogies connected to the belt through a connection part provided in the vicinity of a beginning part of the bogie closer to the customer seat by the motor. The belt extends along the transport path toward the customer seat side from a halfway of the transport path in the kitchen.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
