Abstract:
To provide an ordered food and drink carrying device capable of identifying passing of food and drink loaded across both conveyors, and passing of food and drink loaded on one conveyor, in a conveyance path formed by two rows of conveyors.SOLUTION: An ordered food and drink carrying device 10 includes: two rows of conveyors in parallel for conveying food and drink from a kitchen to a customer's seat; a passage sensor 11 provided in the middle of a conveyance path formed by the two rows of conveyors; and a control device for making the movements of the two rows of conveyors synchronous or asynchronous. The passage sensor 11 has: a contact switch 11A for detecting passing of food and drink loaded across both two rows of conveyors, on the basis of the presence of contact with a movable contact member 11A1 arranged between the two rows of conveyors; and an optical sensor 11B for detecting passing of food and drink loaded on one of the two rows of conveyors, on the basis of the state of detection light exchanged between a first optical component fixed to the contact member 11A1, and second optical components provided at both sides of the two rows of conveyors.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
