Title:
ENGINE IDLING SPEED CONTROL METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3201012
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To eliminate unnecessary control and secure stable rotation by prohibiting the adjustment of the opening of a flow control valve when an engine runs at a specified low speed in controlling engine speed in idling with a flow control valve in a bypass bypassing a throttle valve controlled.
CONSTITUTION: A flow control valve 4 is installed in the bypass 3 provided bypassing a throttle valve 2 associated with the acceleration pedal. This flow control valve 4 is adjusted by turning its lever according to the duty ratio determined by adding and/or reducing warming-up correction increasing quantity, correction quantity when starting, rotation feedback correction quantity, rotation load correction quantity, etc., with an electronic controlling device 6. In this case, whether the throttle valve 2 is opened or not and whether the value of engine speed is smaller than the value obtained by adding a specified value to objective idling speed or not are detected. An engine is constituted such that when it is detected that they are smaller with the throttle valve 2 completely closed, the adjustment of intake air quantity is prohibited.
