Abstract:
PURPOSE:To promote the convenience of a customer by supplying the service to the customer in cooperation with the issuer of an IC card when the IC card is used. CONSTITUTION:An IC card terminal 11 provided at the floor of a financial organ such as the bank can give and receive the data by inserting an IC card 12 possessed by the customer. Namely, by the operation of the customer, the first PIN registration to the IC card, the rewriting of the already registered PIN, the checking of the transaction data stored in the IC card, and the checking of the IC card itself can be executed. The IC card terminal 11 is connected to a CRT display 13, besides the guidance displaying of the operation procedure of the terminal to the customer, executes the menu displaying which above-mentioned processing is executed, the displaying of the transaction data stored in the IC card and the displaying of the internal condition of the IC card. The IC card terminal 11 and the CRT display 13 is connected to a central control device 21. provided in the counter of the bank.
