To solve such a problem that a conventional suction head type cut feeding device performs both constant length feeding and transfer feeding by using only one suction head, with constant-length feeding and transfer feeding as a series of performances, and therefore a following constant-length feeding operation cannot be done until the suction head finishes the transfer feeding and returns in front of a cut means, prolonging the cycle time of the device and inhibiting the device from operating at a high speed.
A cut feeding device for a belt-like material which feeds a belt-like material X to the downstream of a feeding route after cutting the belt-like material to a predetermined length, comprises a work platform 1 mounted on the feeding route of the belt-like material X, a cut means, an upper suction means 32 sucking the end of the belt-like material X positioned on the work platform ahead of the cut means and feeding the belt-like material to the work platform behind the cut means by a predetermined distance, and a lower suction means 42 which sucks a sheet-like material made by cutting the belt-like material fed to the rear side of the cut means at the position of the cut means and feeds the sheet-like material to the downstream of the feeding route.
