To provide a cut flower preservation apparatus and a cut flower preservation method each capable of improving the degree of freedom of the display layout of cut flowers in addition to an original preservation function for cut flowers.
This cut flower preservation apparatus has a water-drawing circulatory circuit composed of a plurality of flower vessels 15 arranged in a water tank 12, a circulating pump 24 to send water to each of the flower vessels 15, a purification sterilization tank 13 for purifying and sterilizing water, a cooling device 14 for cooling water and a plurality of water-ejecting pipes 29 for introducing the purified, sterilized and cooled water to each of the flower vessels 15. The water level of each of the flower vessels 15 can be individually controlled because water is individually supplied to each of the flower vessels 15, thus a plurality of kinds of cut flowers 16 with the most suitable water level for soaking cut faces different from each other can be held in the identical water tank 12. The degree of freedom of the display layout of the cut flowers 16 in the identical water tank 12 can be improved without restricting at all the position movements and the external appearances of the flower vessels 15 in the water tank 12.
