Title:
CUT-OFF APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3895559
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continue a cut-off operation for one piece without any troubles and improve an availability factor by changing a trajectory moving speed of a blade without stopping the cut-off operation in the course of cutting-off, when wear of a blade has been found.
SOLUTION: The cut-off apparatus 1 is provided with one X axis speed calculating unit 22c, one Y axis speed calculating unit 22d, and one blade rotational speed monitoring unit 22a for one blade 11b. The blade rotational speed monitoring unit 22a compares a set value and an actual value of the rotational speed of the blade 11b. When some deviation 22e is produced between the two values, the blade rotational speed monitoring unit 22a outputs a command to the X axis speed calculating unit 22c and the Y axis speed calculating unit 22d so that the moving speed of the blade cut-off trajectory is reduced. Thus, the cut-off operation can be continued by compensating a drop of the cut-off efficiency of the blade without facilities for measuring wear of the blade. Therefore, the availability factor of the cut-off apparatus is improved.
