Abstract:
To provide a cut-off device capable of cutting off water flowing into a generator unit mounted to a hydraulic pressure steel pipe and carrying out operation of the generator unit without aiming at inspection when the generator unit in a hydroelectric power plant is inspected and maintained.
The cut-off device 5 is mounted to the hydraulic pressure steel pipe 2 supplying water to the generator unit 3 or 4 in a detachable manner, and it is equipped with a closing member 7 for stopping the flow of water, a supporting member 8 mounted to the generator unit 3 or 4 in a detachable manner and a connecting member 9 connecting the closing member 7 and the supporting member 8.
