To have both merits of setting a clearance of a press blade and a die to large and small as a cutoff press type pipe cutting machine, eliminate scab-shaped scraps remaining on a cutting edge of a pipe, and restrain the cutting edge of the pipe from swelling and a burr from being generated.

This device comprises a pair of dies 1, 2 with a holding hole 4 arranged in a row as opposed to a press blade 3, and parts a pipe P penetrated into the holding hole 4 between both dies by the press blade 3. In this device, both side parts of the approaching direction of the press blade in a blade receiving part 5 existing on the periphery of the holding hole 4 of the dies 1, 2 are recessed.
