PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the cut-off performance of joint parts of inner and outer impervious wall constituent members applied to an impervious wall of a waste disposal plant or the like and thereby realize drying work in a space.
SOLUTION: Inner and outer continuous walls 71a, 71b with the joint parts 77 made continuous using the inner and outer impervious wall constituent members 71 formed of impermeable steel, are erected in a single row or a plurality of rows in an impermeable stratum. The interior of each space 44 is then excavated, washed and dried up. A cut-off material 15a such as a bituminous material formed on asphalt mixture or the like, clay, mortar, concrete, clay mortar or a viscous material is placed in each space 44 to construct an impervious revetment.
