Abstract:
To provide a safety device 2 excellent in workability and safety in a work at a high place or the like.SOLUTION: A safety device 2 includes: a frame body 4; first and second bearing rollers 6, 8 engageable with a main rope R installed in the frame body 4; first and second pressing links 10, 12 rotatably pivoted on the frame body 4; and a connection tool 14 connected to one end side of each pressing link. Each pressing link has main rope pressing parts 34, 36 at the other end side. When pulling force acts on the connection tool 14, the first pressing link 10 rotates in a direction in which the main rope pressing part 34 presses the main rope R to the first bearing roller 6, and the second pressing link 12 rotates in a direction in which the main rope pressing part 36 presses the main rope R to the second bearing roller 8. When the pulling force is released, both pressing links 10, 12 rotate in a direction in which the main rope pressing parts 34, 36 are each separated from the main rope.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
