Title:
CUTTER DEVICE AND PRINTER EMPLOYING THIS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3711734
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To tear recording paper with light force and improve the appearance of torn marks by furnishing a first and second movable blades intersection slidable with a stationary blade by being moved from the holding position of a transportation path of recording paper in the direction vertically crossing over the transportation path with respect to the stationary blade.
SOLUTION: When the driving motor M is driven, its torque is transmitted to a driving gear 14 via a motor gear 11, speed reduction gear 12, and a worm gear 13, and with this, a ring lever 16 moves from the position shown by a solid line to the position shown by a two-dotted line. In this instance, the slot of a slide plate 19 is guided in the direction of allow A by the projection of a cutter frame 5, so that a first and second movable blades 8, 9 being engaged with the slide plate 19 also move in the direction of arrow A with the result that the blade portions 8a, 9a of the first and second blades 8, 9 slide by only distance L with respect to the blade portion (a) of the stationary blade 7, thereby cutting recording paper S.
