Abstract:

PURPOSE: To cut an intruding member projected onto the ground automatically, safely and easily without depending upon a hand after the slender intruding member is driven into soil in a row by a soil-nail discharger.

CONSTITUTION: A downwards opened cylindrical body 7a is mounted at the front end section of the drum cylinder 6 of a soil-nail discharger through a soil-nail propulsion-member scattering preventive device. A clamping device 8 for gripping an intruding member M and a cutter 9 for cutting an unnecessary section in the quantity of the intruding member M projected from a ground surface are installed into the cylindrical body 7a.
