To provide an inexpensive cutter grinding device allowing anyone to easily and certainly grind a blade surface of a cutter to accurate blade angle and blade line without requiring skill, excellent in work-efficiency, capable of improving sharpness of the ground cutter, and grinding an object so as to keep good sharpness for a long time.

A grinding plate 7 having a grinding surface for grinding a cutter on its upper surface is provided, a support table 4 having a vertical shaft 4a on its upper surface is provided so that it can move in parallel with the side direction of the grinding plate 7, a cutter mounting top 5 is liftably and rotatably mounted to the vertical shaft 4a, the cutter mounting top 5 is elastically supported by a spring for energizing it upward, and a cutter holding tool 6 for holding a blade surface of the cutter at a given tilting angle is mounted to the cutter mounting top 5.
