Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter grinding device which is simple in structure, and grinds a cutter so as to exhibit excellent releasability and so as to maintain long-term sharpness.
SOLUTION: The cutter grinding device is formed of an inner case 4, a slot 6 formed in the inner case 4 and receives the cutter in a manner movable in a cutting edge lengthwise direction, and a plurality of strips 8b elastically deformable and arranged in the inner case 4 in a manner of adjoining each other in a longitudinal direction of the slot 6 and crossing each other at a predetermined crossing angle. The strips 8b each have a grinding surface 8c on one surface thereof, and cooperatively form a V-shaped grinding groove 10 on one side, which expands toward the slot 6. The other ends of the strips are fixed to the interior of the inner case 4. The cutter grinding device is arranged in the inner case 4, and provided with a stopper for abutting on the strips 8b to determine an opening width of the grinding groove 10, and specifically an inner side wall of the inner case 4 serves as the stopper.
