To realize a device which does not require a high machine accuracy, is inexpensive, and reduces to a minimum the deformation of the spare cutter due to the influence by the cutter carrier even when a spare cutter of a relatively small thickness is mounted by constituting the cutter mounting means by a plurality of cutter carriers and cutter pressing-down members which are provided on the main body side.

A cutter grinding device 10 comprises a main body 11, a cutter mounting means which mounts a cutter to the main body 11, a roller 13 and a roller position adjusting means which adjusts the position of the roller relative to the cutter mounting means. In this case, the cutter mounting means is composed of a plurality of cutter holders 11i and 11j provided on a member on the main body 11 side and cutter pressing members 15 (15c and 15d) situated opposite to the cutter carriers, and the cutter is mounted to the main body by pressing it with the cutter holders 11i and 11j by the cutter pressing member 15.
