To reduce space to be required by miniaturizing a cutter grinding machine by making the stroke of a grinding tool variable.
This machine is provided with: a disc 1 rotating on a horizontal surface with a vertical rotary shaft 2 as a center when driven; a first wheel spindle stock 9 arranged on the upper side of the disc 1 in parallel with the disc 1 to reciprocate in the left and right directions; and a rotary motion transmission means for transmitting a rotary motion of the disc 1 to the first wheel spindle stock 9 to reciprocate the wheel spindle stock 9 in the left and right direction. The rotation motion transmission means is constituted of a roller 5 attachably/detachably mounted on the disc 1 by being vertically erected by inserting a center shaft 5a part into either one of holes 4 provided on each of a plurality of concentric circles having a rotary shaft of the disc 1 as a center and a guide rail 6 for guiding the roller 5 mounted on the disc 1 integrally provided in the front and rear directions under the first wheel spindle stock 9.
