Abstract:
To provide a cutter mechanism of a printer in which the rear end of a cut print medium adheres to neither a movable blade nor a fixed blade, and production of cut waste is prevented.
The cutter mechanism 5 of a printer cuts a strip-like print medium P to a desired length by moving the movable blade 9 toward the fixed blade 10 to advance and retreat freely and has a paper outlet for discharging the printed print medium P. The movable blade 9 is provided with an extrusion 25 which extrudes the print medium P toward the paper outlet when the print medium P is cut.
