To provide a cutter for remote control that can suppress an increase in weight and improve operation efficiency by stabilizing work on an object at a high place from the ground.
A cutter 1 for remote control has a pair of handle portions 8f (the lower side not shown) of a cutter portion 8 comprising an upper blade-side half body 8c and a lower blade-side half body 8d coupled rotatably to a nut body 6 and a connection portion 7 respectively, and made operable to open and close through a feed screw mechanism comprising a screw shaft 4 and a nut body 6. A hook portion 10 is fitted to both sides of the cutter portion 8 movably integrally with the upper blade-side half body 8c. The hook portion 10 has a cut 11 formed of an electric wire contact portion 10a, an upper guide portion 10b, and a lower guide portion 10c. The upper guide portion 10b has a curved line formed so as to connect with an upper blade 8a of the cutter portion 8 in a side view, and an electric wire is smoothly guided to the blade portion. The stored electric wire is restricted by a lock portion 12 which can swing only inward from separating outward.
