To provide a cutter for removing a projection on a coated surface, which is capable of obtaining excellent workability, and preventing the projection from being remained after removal without requiring neither the skill of a worker nor the frequent adjustment of an edge position even with respect to any of flat or rugged coated surfaces.
The cutter for removing the projection on the coated surface cuts the projection on the coated surface by performing movement in a state where at least a part of a cutting edge contacts the coating surface. The cutter includes, as the cutting edges: a circumferential inner cutting edge (a circumferential cutting edge 2): and a straight line shape cutting edge (a linear cutting edge 3) which is arranged in the substantially radial direction of the circumferential cutting edge 2 on the inner side of the circumferential cutting edge 2, i.e., on a virtual plane, where the circumferential cutting edge 2 contacts over the whole circumference, or at a position slightly apart from the virtual plane.
