To provide a cutter for window glass adhesive layer with which one worker can efficiently detach window glass.
This cutter for window glass adhesive layer is provided with an endless belt 10 having prescribed width to be driven in the desired direction in close contact with the upper surface of window shield glass G and a frame body 20 where the endless belt 10 is stretched so as to be driven back and forth by a driving pulley 11 and a pair of driven pulleys 12 and 13. Each of the pulleys 11, 12 and 13 is a timing pulley engaged on the inner surface of the endless belt 10 and respectively journaled at the top and the front and rear end position of the lower parts of the frame body 20. The driving pulley 11 is rotationally driven by the turning operation of a manual handle attached to the supporting shaft thereof. An edged tool holder 21 assembled on one side face of the frame body 20 positions and fixes an edged tool 30 inserting the cutting blade thereof to an adhesive layer A of the window shield glass G.
